First introduced in 1989, Ouverture is Riedel’s entry level series for wine drinkers who appreciate good, reasonably priced wine and glassware.
Ouverture Magnum is Riedel’s most versatile, non varietal specific glass. As a result, it is used nationally in wine shows and wine judging.
About: This new shape was developed to narrow the gap between the Ouverture red wine glass and the bigger shapes in the Vinum series. The generous size of the bowl helps to release the wine’s aromas, and is appropriate for all the classic red grape varieties. On the palate, the glass is designed to emphasise fruit and balance tannins
