Made from Limoges porcelain, sourced directly from France, the pigment in every MUD product is tinted through the porcelain body to provide colour-depth. Clear glaze is then hand brushed to the interior of each piece leaving the exterior with a vitrified stone-like surface that becomes smooth with handling.
Mud’s interpretation of a traditional quarter sheet baking pan, this rectangular dish is perfect for cooking slab cakes, slices and frittatas or roasting meats and vegetables. It’s elegant form allows for oven-to-table presentation, a drinks tray or a grazing platter.
All Mud Australia is hand-made in their Sydney studio, Australia. Irregularities in size, glaze & texture, reflect the many human touches received during the making process and should be embraced.
Mud Australia considers Slate, Plum, Red, Orange and Ink pieces as ‘premium’ colours, and are thus priced accordingly.
