Made from Limoges porcelain, sourced directly from France, the pigment in every MUD product is tinted through the porcelain body to provide colour-depth. Clear glaze is then hand brushed to the interior of each piece leaving the exterior with a vitrified stone-like surface that becomes smooth with handling.
This large serving plate / platter makes a perfect cheese platter, or tray upon which to present your other mud dishes and bowls whilst entertaining.
All mud australia is hand-made in their Sydney studio, Australia. Irregularities in size, glaze & texture, reflect the many human touches received during the making process and should be embraced.
Mud Australia considers Slate, Plum, Red, Orange, Wasabi, Yellow and Ink pieces as ‘premium’ colours, and are thus priced accordingly.
